Originally founded in 1929, Pop Warner Little Scholars is the nation's oldest youth football, cheer, and dance organization. Pop Warner's commitment to academics is what separates our program from other youth sports nationwide and in NM, as we are the only organization that requires its participants to maintain academic standards to participate. We provide a safe, structured, recreation at no taxpayer expense, for the communities in Los Lunas, Belen, Albuquerque, and Rio Rancho. Our coaches go through a rigorous certification process including CPR certification as well criminal background checks and hold the athletes to the highest standards of character and integrity. The athletes are responsible to work their hardest to be a healthy and productive member of the family, the team, their school, and the community
